Customer guide — photo to finished canvas
📸 Taking the right photo
- Fill the frame — the face or subject should cover at least half the photo. Use the zoom tool to crop in tight.
- Daylight, no flash — soft, even light near a window works best. Harsh shadows become muddy patches of beads.
- Plain-ish background — busy backgrounds eat up bead colours. A wall, sky, or blur is ideal.
- No filters — the tool adds the style; filtered photos convert unpredictably.
- 1–2 faces maximum on A4. Save group photos for A3.
💎 Making it on the ToyBag A4 canvas
- Download the Symbol Chart for your favourite style.
- Print it at 100% scale ("Actual size") on A4 paper — don't let the printer shrink it.
- Your blank ToyBag canvas has the same 70 × 100 grid. The bold lines every 10 squares and edge numbers on the chart match the canvas — use them to keep your place.
- Sort your bead bags by the letters in the colour key (A, B, C…).
- Work top to bottom, one 10 × 10 block at a time, peeling only the section of film you're working on.
- Press finished areas with the roller, frame it, done! ✨
